Making Love With Words

All too often it is common to interchange synonymous words and use them incorrectly. The Thank God I…® authors and editing team have done their best to clarify many distinctions that have confused humanity in the Personal Development field. Because the Thank God I…® brand has so many authors, the alignment of words, terms, and expressions has become an important focus for the “continuity” of meaning.

The distinctions in the expression of language are extraordinarily important—especially with written material. Our intent is to use terms clearly and correctly.

The following are important brand word distinctions that can assist the reader in getting a more comprehensive understanding of the Thank God I…® “state of mind.”

» Passion & Inspiration

Passion is an endorphin “high” eventually attracting the opposite “low.” It is not heart centered.

Inspiration is a state of being, love, and presence. It has no opposite and is heart centered.

» Happiness & Fulfillment

Happiness is an endorphin “high,” eventually attracting a sadness “low.” It is not heart centered.

Fulfillment is a state encompassing equal happiness and sadness. It is heart centered.

» Peace / Inner Peace

Peace is balanced by its opposite—war. It is an illusion that is not heart centered.

Inner peace is a state of fulfillment, being, presence, inspiration, gratitude or love. It is heart centered—and has no opposite.

» Forgiveness / Appreciation

Forgiveness implies a right and wrong—and a judgment! In the world of perfection—past, present and future—nothing needs an apology.

Appreciation honors the perfection of what has been, is, and will be—in whatever form. It reserves no judgment.

» Always / Never

These two terms have been almost completely edited out of this text. The Actual Existence of "always" and "never" in a relative universe is almost non-existent. In fact, by listening to where one uses the term "always" or "never", one can become clear of the internal charges (misperceptions) that exist. The over use of these terms can be indicative of stubborn positioning that can inhibit one’s growth.

»Positive & Negative / Equilibration

If you cut a magnet in half, you will still get a positive and negative “half.” Each side of the magnet attracts its opposite - Equilibration. Thank God I…® fosters a state of Gratitude. It is an equilibrated state beyond the illusion of "positive" or "negative". An equilibrated state is also expressed as inspiration, love, being, gratitude, presence or fulfillment.

» Reality / Actuality

Any emotional experience has its opposite. They are opposite realities. "Actuality" transcends the illusion of realities. "Actuality" is an equilibrated state.

» Emotions / Feelings

Emotions are charged realities that are "illusions" and have opposites. They are not heart-centered. Feelings are equilibrated actualities. They have no opposites. They are heart-centered. Honoring these distinctions can greatly assist the reader in understanding some of the key messages that Thank God I…® is sharing with humanity. Honoring them can greatly increase one’s experience of ACTUALITY.
