If you had the power to change one thing in the world what would it be? This is a question that could take some thought. Considerable thought maybe.

In a world that seems to have so much "wrong" going on in it, it is tempting to start a list. But remember it is only one thing you could change. One thing. Hmmmm.

If I had the power to change one thing it would be this: I would change nothing. That's right, nothing. And that's because I know the world is perfect just the way it is and we are all perfect too.

Remember this: the darker the shadow, the brighter the light.

Good Friday, a great time to look at ourselves and our connection to God. Christ will die today. Judas was his betrayer. Without Judas this Christian event would not be happening. Herein lies the balance of the "good" and the "bad."

So what can this thinking inspire us to do? Explore both sides of the same coin. Put your views into perspective. One side always creates the other. Love is all, God is all, God loves all. Gratitude Works, Thank you, K

In Wisconsin we have long winters and not much Spring. I love the pictures of Washington D.C. where the cherry blossoms are now in bloom. And once I took a trip down south at this time of year. The dogwood trees were breathtaking. Some things have started to bloom here. My daffodils are just about to open. Today will be close to 70 degrees. Unseasonable for us. So I will enjoy every minute of it. The sunshine, the grass starting to green, the warmth. It's somehow easier to live in the moment when things are going your way and today is that day for me. I am loving it.

Give thanks today for your body and your mind. Gratitude will free you to grow your spirit in ways you never imagined possible.

When I feel inspired and/or empowered, I have good energy. And I love having good energy. These are some of the things that make me feel empowered.

Seeing sunshine and happiness through misery and drama.

Making reasoned, conscious choices instead of reacting to every feeling.

Having the courage to act on my values and

Accepting the consequences of my choices.

Inspiration or empowerment or both? What does it mean to be inspired or empowered?

Sometimes I do feel inspired and empowered at the same time. I made out a list. As I was writing down the things that inspired me and those that empowered me I found sameness and difference. I might be inspired to do something that I like, but does it empower me? I might feel empowered by something I do, but am I inspired?

Empowerment. What does it mean to you? One thing it means to me is to not be a slave to another's situation. By attending to my own business, I feel empowered.
